SRNC-FC FILES OPENING BRIEF IN COURT APPEAL

“SRNC-FC FILES ‘OPENING BRIEF’ IN COURT OF APPEAL:….As the Chair of the Skid Row Neighborhood Council- Formation Committee, I officially announce to all our members, allies and supporters that we just completed the next step in this LONG journey to get our Skid Row Neighborhood Council! We filed our Opening Brief with the Court of Appeals on Friday, April 16th. (See below link to read entire document)…We were delayed due to COVID-19 court closures. Please note, that because we do not have legal representation for this phase, and because I am not an attorney, I had to write and submit our opening brief as an individual….Props to Katherine McNenny who was there every step of the way!…She also filed a ‘cross-appeal’ as an individual- so we both are repping the SRNC-FC, but as individuals, per court rules.
