Angelia Harper aka “Big Mama” is someone whose reputation proceeds her. She is known as a loving presence in Skid Row who also knows how to throw down in the kitchen. She feeds souls and feeds the people. She has been doing Springtime events in San Julian Park for years where she brings Easter baskets to the kids of the community (next one on April 1st!). She is out in the streets connecting people who need help with the services that they need- she is a walking rolodex with the patience of an angel. We are lucky to have her.
